The year 2008 has been declared by the United Nations "International Year of the Potato". Here in Golden B.C. Canada there is a new variety. Rande's Golden Gem is the name of the new potato my husband Eugene Rande and his family have the growing rights for the next seventeen years. The family has stated a company called "Kicking Horse Spud Company Ltd".
